Folsom vs. Grant Union headline kickoff News10 HighSchoolSports.net football schedule

SACRAMENTO, CA - This Friday, August 25, News10 HighSchoolSports.net will debut its 2010 preps football coverage during Week Zero. 

News10's "Game of The Week" is no surprise to most as the sold-out nationally televised match-up of the Folsom Bulldogs and the Grant Union Pacers kicks starts the high school football season.  Grant is ranked No. 1 in the Massey ratings; Folsom is ranked No. 4.

The game will air live on ESPN2 at 7 p.m., making it Sacramento's first ever nationally televised high school sporting event. 

The rest of News10's coverage this week includes:

Reed (Sparks, NV) at Granite Bay; 7 p.m.

McQueen (Reno, NV.) at Nevada Union; 7:15 p.m.

Elk Grove vs. Ponderosa; 7:15 p.m.

Pleasant Grove vs. Monterey Trail (from Sheldon High School); 7:15 p.m.

Stagg vs. Chavez; 7:15 p.m.

Woodcreek vs. Lincoln; 7:30 p.m.
