The five most impressive teams on the first weekend of high school football:

C.J. Mifsud completed 12 of 20 passes as Dearborn knocked off Chippewa Valley, 41-14.

Grand Rapids Christian

Andre Davis ran for 220 yards on 16 carries and scored four TDs in a 58-28 victory over South Christian.

Lansing Sexton

MSU commit Onaje Miller scored three TDs and ran for 143 yards to help Sexton upset Holt, 35-9.

Novi Detroit Catholic Central

Fullback/linebacker Justin D'Agostino gained 98 yards and helped limit Dearborn Fordson to two first downs in a 35-0 win.

DeWitt

Caleb Higbie hit 18 of 25 passes for 305 yards and five TDs and ran for 107 yards in a 56-34 win over Lansing Eastern.
