Basketball Note 12/05/2011 Attention all basketball parents: When games are held at Stanton Middle School, please be aware that the second game of the night begins promptly once the first ends. There is an 8 minute warm-up period between the games. Even though the schedule says 5:30pm for these games, they may start earlier if the first game ends faster. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Girls Basketball vs. Laurel 11/29/2011 Attention 8th Grade Grils Basketball Parents: Due to a lack of numbers, Laurel School only has enough players for a 7th grade basketball team. Therefore, we will only be holding one game tomorrow, November 30, rather than the scheduled 2 games. The 7th graders will be the only team playing. Middle School Volleyball 10/19/2011 Stanton 8th Grade Volleyball will be playing tonight at 4:15pm vs. Crestwood in the Portage Trail Conference Semifinals. The game is going to be held at Stanton Middle School. The winner earns a spot in the championship game on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at noon.
Unfortunately, our 7th Grade Volleyball team fell to Streetsboro last evening in their Portage Trail Conference Quarterfinal matchup. The girls had a great season and have a lot to look forward to next year. Great Season girls!

Girls Basketball Open Gym 10/10/2011 Attention All Girls Interested in Basketball: We will be holding voluntary open gyms on Tuesdays and Thursday from 5:00pm-6:30pm in Stanton gymnasium beginning on 10/11/2011. Physicals and EMA's are not needed yet because it is not the first day of practice. Once tryouts begin at the end of October, all girls playing or trying out WILL need a valid physical on file and an up-to-date EMA form. Football Scrimmage Location 08/18/2011 Attention all Football Parents:
The 7th and 8th grade football scrimmage will be played at KIMPTON MIDDLE SCHOOL. It has been changed from the previous location, Lakeview Elementary School due to field usage issues. The games will be at 4:00pm and 5:30pm roughly. Buses for 7th grade and 8th grade will be at different times, the 7th grade bus will be picking up at 3:00pm and 8th Grade at 4:00pm.
